UQM Technologies Delivers Compressor Drive Motor to Keith Products, Inc. for Evaluation and Flight Certification Testing FREDERICK, Colo., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UQM TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (AMEX:UQM), a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced today that it has delivered a 4.5 horsepower UQM(R) compressor drive motor and integrated electronic controller to Keith Products, Inc. of Addison, Texas, a manufacturer of aircraft air conditioning systems, for evaluation and DO-160D flight certification testing. The new compact and lightweight UQM(R) compressor drive motor is expected to have a time between overhaul several times longer than that of the brushed compressor drive motor currently used in Keith Products air conditioning systems. Last fall, the Company began production of a 1.1 horsepower UQM(R) brushless permanent magnet motor with an integrated electronic controller which is used as part of a vapor cycle air conditioning system designed by Keith Products for military and commercial aircraft. The Company recently received an additional order extending production deliveries of this product through December 2005.
