Mecuria Hires Goldman Commodities Investment Executive -Reuters

Swiss-based trading house Mercuria has hired former Goldman
Sachs Group Inc.'s (GS) commodities investment executive Shameek
Konar to help manage its portfolio of energy assets, Reuters
reported on its website Friday, citing a person familiar with the
matter. Konar joined Goldman two years ago from Constellation
Energy Partners LLC (CEP) and will work from Houston, the report
said. Konar will help manage Mecuria's global assets including
upstream fields in Canada, coal mines in Indonesia and storage
facilities in China. Spokespersons for Goldman and Mercuria
declined comment to Reuters.
