Commerce Energy Announces Resignation of Two Board Members Search Commenced to Add New Directors COSTA MESA, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Commerce Energy Group, Inc. (AMEX:EGR) the largest non utility-affiliated retail energy marketer in the U.S. announced that on July 8, 2005, Gregory L. Craig, a member of the Board of Directors of Commerce Energy Group gave written notice of his resignation as a director of the company, effective as of the close of business on August 1, 2005. Mr. Craig did not resign due to any disagreement with the company or its management but rather because of the increased demands placed on his time by his full-time professional commitments. In addition, on July 8, 2005, Mark C. Pocino, a member of the Board of Directors of Commerce Energy Group, gave written notice of his resignation as a director of the company, effective immediately after the meeting of the Board of Directors held on the afternoon of July 8, 2005. Mr. Pocino did not resign due to any disagreement with the company or its management but rather because of the demands placed on his time by his personal interests.
