TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (http://www.amdl.com/) AMDL, Inc. (AMEX:ADL), a leading vertically integrated bio-pharmaceutical company with major operations in China and the US, announced today at its annual meeting of shareholders that is has re-elected the existing members of its Board of Directors, including Dr. Bill Thompson, Dr. Edward Arquilla, Mr. Henry Jai, Mr. Gary Dreher and Mr. Doug MacLellan to the Company's Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2008. Long-time board member Dr. Bill Thompson is retiring from his position as Chairman of the Board of the Directors and will assume responsibilities as Chairman of the Governance Committee. Mr. Douglas MacLellan has been appointed AMDL's new Chairman of the Board serving as the Company's lead spokesperson and support resource to AMDL's executive management team. Mr. MacLellan will continue serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Dr. Arquilla has been newly appointed as Chairman of the Compensation Committee. There have been no changes to the Company's executive management team.
