Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

Varian Medical Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) announced on June 1, 2020 that Michael Hutchinson has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Francis R. Facchini has been appointed President, Interventional Business Solutions. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
