Anthem Inc. (ANTM) on Wednesday said its board raised the quarterly dividend by almost 19% to 95 cents.

The new payout, equal to $3.80 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.31% based on Tuesday's closing price of $290.32, up from 1.1%.

The Indianapolis health insurer said the increased dividend is payable March 27 to shareholders of record March 16.
