Amazon to Add 600 Tech Jobs in Toronto

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) plans to expand a technology hub in
Toronto and plans to add 600 technology workers there, the
e-commerce giant said Tuesday.
Amazon said the 600 new workers will have skills in software
development, machine learning, cloud computing, digital advertising
and artificial intelligence. The company said it has opened a new
113,000-square-foot office in downtown Toronto to support its
efforts.
Amazon said it has more than 800 corporate employees in Toronto,
largely focused on research and software development.
This year, Amazon has announced plans to create more than 6,000
new jobs in Canada.
