AT&T Inc. (T) is dividing itself into new reporting segments after buying Time Warner Inc. and as a result of "organizational changes," the company said Friday.

One of its segments is communications, which includes its mobile reporting unit and entertainment group, AT&T said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Another is WarnerMedia, which includes Turner, Warner Brothers and Home Box Office.

One of the other segments is Latin America, which includes Vrio. Analytics and advertising is also a segment.

Shares of AT&T, down 14% year to date, rose 0.9% in premarket trading.
