Dow Jones News
--Italy's government has delayed the handover of the Ilva
steelworks in southern Italy to ArcelorMittal by two-and-a-half
months to Sept. 15, Reuters reports.
--ArcelorMittal last year agreed to buy the plant with a
handover due on July 1, but the government is now seeking to review
the terms of the agreement, according to Reuters.
--Luigi Di Maio, the country's new industry minister, said he
will consider "environmental, social, economic and employment
terms" after his governing 5 Star Movement party had previously
campaigned to close the steelworks, Reuters reports.
--The plant has been under state supervision since 2015, after
judges ruled it must be cleaned up or shut, Reuters says.
