--France's Orange is considering a merger of its group of TV channels, Orange Cinema Series, with Altice Studio, in a move that will challenge streaming services provider Netflix, French newspaper Le Figaro reports citing unnamed sources.

--The deal would allow Orange to benefit from the content supply contracts that SFR-operated Altice Studio has signed with American media giants NBCUniversal and Discovery, according to Le Figaro.
