JetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU), New York’s Hometown Airline®, today
announced it is expanding in two of its biggest markets – New York
State and Boston – with new daily nonstop service between Syracuse
Hancock International Airport (SYR) and Boston Logan International
Airport (BOS).
The new service begins Thursday, January 4, 2018, and will
operate year-round. Seats are on sale beginning today, with
introductory fares starting at $59 one way (a). Travel must be

“This route is especially exciting because JetBlue is bringing
even more of our award-winning service to customers in our New York
and New England markets,” said John Checketts, vice president
network planning. “And with the addition of Boston flights, JetBlue
will now offer nonstop service and low fares between Syracuse and
four of our focus cities stretching from Florida to New
England.”
JetBlue is Boston’s largest airline, with up to 150 daily
departures, and Syracuse will be the 64th nonstop destination from
Logan. Boston day trips have never been easier for Syracuse flyers,
and travelers will also benefit from convenient connections to
popular destinations across the U.S. and throughout the Caribbean
and Latin America. Boston service will also add a number of new
connection options to top destinations like Ronald Reagan
Washington National Airport (DCA), Philadelphia International
Airport (PHL) and Nashville International Airport (BNA).
Connections through Boston also offer customers more opportunities
to take advantage of the airline’s growing premium Mint product on
transcontinental flights in the United States and to seasonal
destinations in the Caribbean. Additionally, JetBlue customers can
take advantage of more than a dozen partnerships with international
carriers offering destinations around the world.
This route also boosts JetBlue service in New York state. The
airline serves eight airports throughout New York – Albany,
Buffalo, Syracuse, Newburgh, Rochester, and Westchester County, as
well as New York’s LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy
International Airport. From JetBlue’s home at JFK’s award-winning
