NOTICE TO THE MARKET

 

São Paulo, April 28, 2017 - BRASKEM S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK) informs its shareholders and the market that it has refiled its Annual Calendar to reflect the change in the date for filing its 20-F Form for fiscal year 2016 (“20-F Form”).

Although it continues to make progress on conducting the required assessments of its processes and internal controls, as mentioned in the Material Fact notice dated March 28, 2017, the depth and detail of the assessments have extended the work schedule of the independent auditors and consequently the Company has not yet completed its audited financial statements for fiscal year 2016, which has prevented it from filing the 20-F Form.

Braskem continues to make its best efforts to complete the above work as soon as possible and will duly update its calendar of corporate events as soon as a date is set for the filing of the 20‑F Form.
