Appointment continues commitment to Canadian
customers
OTTAWA, Oct. 9, 2015 /CNW/ -- Raytheon Company
(NYSE: RTN) recently announced the appointment of Mark Nicol as president, Raytheon International
Inc. in Canada, responsible for
customer engagement and business development to support the
company's global growth. Nicol will be based in Ottawa.

About Mark Nicol
With
Raytheon for 14 years, Nicol most recently served as a program
director for Standard Missiles I and II. In 2001, he joined
Raytheon Missile Systems as the program manager for the Japan
Phalanx Program, and since then, Nicol took on roles of increasing
responsibility including: deputy director of Phalanx international
business, and regional director for Asia
Pacific and India for
Missile Systems business development; deputy program director for
both the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile and Close in Defense
Solutions; and program director for the Stinger missile. In
addition, he developed the naval weapons business in Australia, New
Zealand and India for
Raytheon Australia.
Nicol graduated from the Royal Australian Naval College. He
retired as a Commander from the Royal Australian Navy after a
distinguished career as a Principal Warfare Officer specializing in
anti-air warfare. He has a diploma in maritime studies and graduate
diploma in applied science from the Royal Australian Navy.
