Wabash National Corporation (NYSE:WNC) raised $360,000 for 15
community organizations at its annual charity golf outing on
September 24, held in conjunction with the company’s annual
Supplier Conference, which took place on September 25.
“Thanks to the commitment and generous support from our
suppliers, this year’s charity golf outing was the most successful
event in its history,” said Dick Giromini, president and chief
executive officer. “As one of the largest employers in the
Lafayette area, Wabash National is proud to support and work with
local agencies to sustain and promote a promising future for our
communities. Every year our suppliers prove they believe in our
mission and values when they join us in our commitment to the
community by making their own charitable contributions during this
event.”
Laura Carson, interim CEO of the United Way of Greater
Lafayette, received a check for $150,000 at a special presentation
during the conference at the company’s Ehrlich Innovation Center in
Lafayette.
“Wabash National Corporation’s support of the United Way of
Greater Lafayette, our community initiatives and our affiliated
agencies is incredible,” said Carson. “I thank everyone at Wabash
National and their suppliers for the generous support of people in
our community and applaud them for their collaborative success.
Wabash National is a recognized leader in the transportation
industry. With their growth and success they continue to increase
their investment in the communities where they live and do
