cycling event has donated $115,000 to
the Boulder Community Hospital Center for Integrative Care and
$50,000 to the George Karl
Foundation. The donations were made February
3, 2015 during a special event at the offices of Zayo Group,
a platinum sponsor of B Strong Ride. The funds were raised in
August 2014 at the 4th
annual Celestial Seasonings® B Strong Ride presented by Subaru
through corporate sponsorship, rider registration fees and
contributions in support of individual riders.

The Boulder Community Hospital Center for Integrative Care
provides a wide range of services to cancer patients including
acupuncture, manual lymph drainage, massage therapy and
reflexology, Reiki and Healing Touch Massage, and wellness and
integrative care consultation. These services improve clinical
outcomes by enhancing wound healing, shortening hospital stays, and
reducing pain medication needs, as well as lowering patient stress
and anxiety.
B Strong Ride's donation of $50,000 to the George Karl Foundation was
presented by David Pygott, Zone
Manager of Subaru of America, presenting sponsor of B Strong
Ride. "I've been down this road twice," said former NBA Head
Coach and current ESPN Analyst George
Karl, a two-time cancer survivor who accepted the check on
behalf of the George Karl Foundation. "I can tell you the

enormous difference in the lives of cancer patients and their
