Realty Trust (NYSE: FPO), a leading owner and operator of office
and business park properties in the greater Washington, D.C. region, today announced the
appointment of Samantha Sacks
Gallagher as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and
Secretary, effective mid-October 2014.

In her new position, Ms. Gallagher will be the Company's chief
legal officer and will lead the Company's corporate legal function.
In her role, Ms. Gallagher will have leadership responsibility for
corporate governance matters, SEC and NYSE compliance, structuring
of corporate-level transactions, overseeing litigation, as well as
managing outside counsel.

Ms. Gallagher is currently a partner at Arnold & Porter LLP
in the firm's Corporate and Securities Group in Washington, D.C. Ms. Gallagher's practice has
focused on the representation of issuers and underwriters in public
and private securities offerings, as well as advising companies in
a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including public
company reporting obligations, corporate governance
issues, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. In
particular, she has extensive experience representing REITs and
other real estate companies and financial institutions. During her
career, Ms. Gallagher has represented issuers and underwriters in
equity offerings totaling more than $4
billion in proceeds and debt offerings exceeding
$5 billion in proceeds. Earlier
in her career, Ms. Gallagher was a partner at Hogan Lovells US LLP
in the firm's Equity and US Debt Capital Markets
practice.
Ms. Gallagher is ranked by Chambers USA as one of America's Leading Lawyers for
Business (2014) for REITs - Nationwide. Ms. Gallagher received her
J.D. from Georgetown University Law
Center, cum laude, and her A.B. from Princeton University, summa cum laude.
Ms. Gallagher currently serves on the Board of Directors for
Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, as well as serving on its Governance
Committee.
