FORT WORTH, Texas, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines will launch new daily service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Cap-Haitien, Haiti (CAP), adding a new international destination to the airline's growing global network. Customers can now book travel on the new route for travel beginning Oct. 2, 2014, subject to government approval.

"This new route represents a tremendous opportunity for significant economic impact for our country by connecting Miami directly to the second city of Haiti."

Daily MIA-CAP Service Schedule (all times local):

AA 1632
Departs MIA at 9:50 a.m. ET
Arrives at CAP at 11:50 a.m. ET

AA 1659
Departs CAP at 2 p.m. ET
Arrives at MIA at 3:59 p.m. ET

The new route supplements American's longstanding service to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and will be operated with a Boeing 737-800. Through American's extensive network from Miami, customers traveling from Cap-Haitien will now have access to more than 100 destinations throughout the United States, Caribbean, Europe and Latin America.
