General Payment Systems, Inc. (OTC:GPSI) (the "Company") - a
payment processing technology company that specializes in the $500
billion government payment space, is pleased to announce that the
Company has been contracted to provide and has now gone live with
five kiosks at Metro Corrections in Louisville, Kentucky. Metro

and operational. Additionally, General Payment Systems has
integrated its proprietary EZAP Software Suite with Archonix's Jail

"This was an incredibly competitive RFP (Request For Proposal)
process and ultimately we were selected over numerous large and
national competition," stated Ron Hodge, CEO, General Payment
Systems. "We are proving over and over again that we are
best-of-breed for municipal payment technology. Adding Louisville
is not just a significant revenue opportunity for GPSI, but a
testament to our growing brand in the industry."
"This is a very large account for the Company and once again, we
thank our channel partner Archonix who continues to open very large
doors for us," added Hodge.
