Native American Energy Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NAGP) today announced that some of its initial transformational work in the Wind Energy area has already been undertaken as it prepares to coincide with Mayor Michael Bloomberg's 2008 proposal for more renewable energy in New York City. Mayor Bloomberg demonstrated his visionary desire to keep New York competitive at the National Clean Energy Summit, boldly challenging companies to put forth their best ideas for creating both small and large-scale wind energy projects to serve New Yorkers.

Native American Energy Group has recently entered into an exclusive License Agreement with the private Canadian company, Windaus Energy Inc. ("Windaus") of Brantford, Ontario (announced on April 19, 2010), bringing Windaus' vertical axis wind turbines to the US market. NAGP may use the technology to develop wind projects on Native American lands, as well as on rooftops in locations like its home base, New York City.

Native American Energy Group has, systematically, followed industry and state procedures to ensure that the Windaus turbines meet the quality standards required by New York State. During the second week of April, an in-person, laboratory demonstration was held at an Upstate New York facility of two of the Windaus turbine models, vertically sized at 3 feet and 6 feet in length.

In addition, Chief Financial Officer Raj Nanvaan of Native American Energy Group was invited to meet with various New York and tri-state professionals to begin initial discussions for the planning of a rooftop mounting and building integration of its advanced design wind turbines in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Nanvaan was accompanied by the President of Windaus, Maurice Deschamps.

Represented at these meetings were an Architectural and Urban Building Design Firm, an Engineering Firm, a private Real Estate Company, a city School, an Information Technology Firm serving the needs of the Public Sector, a Construction Technology Management Company and a Project Development Company that provides comprehensive construction management services for the installation of state-of-the-art equipment. Native American Energy Group has already met with lead architects and different members of these firms several times. Definite progress is being made to meet the monumental challenge made by Mayor Bloomberg only two years ago.

Chief Executive Officer Joseph D'Arrigo stated, "As we are native New Yorkers, we immediately felt a strong desire and an obligation to assist the Mayor in achieving a greener New York. As a company, we shall aspire to help fulfill the city's future energy needs with clean-energy production through the integration of our advanced design wind turbines atop the city's skyscrapers and bridges. After all, we live here too, and we would love to see this happen."
