It is with great sadness that Leyshon Resources Limited (ASX & AIM: LRL)
announces the death of Robert Bigland, a non-Executive Director of the Company.

Managing Director Paul Atherley commented, "Since his appointment in April 2006,
Robert made a valuable contribution, bringing more than 40 years of City of
London experience to the Leyshon Board. His unfailing charm and wise counsel
will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Robert's family at this difficult
time."
