Inova Receives $2.5 Million Funding From IBM

SANTA MONICA, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 7, 2007 -- Inova (OTC BB:IVTH.OB - News) and Desert Communications have signed definitive agreements with IGF (IBM Global Finance) that will provide $2.5 million of debt funding to Inova and Desert Communications.
The funding from IBM will be used to assist with the acquisition of Desert Communications in addition to providing ongoing working capital.

CEO of Inova Technology, Mr. Adam Radly, said, "The funding from IBM is a strong vote of confidence for both Inova and Desert Communications. We've made a lot of progress over recent months and we're very pleased that this progress has put us in a position where we can attract funding from IBM."

On August 1, 2007, Inova announced that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Texas based Desert Communications for $5.5 million. This transaction is an acquisition and not a merger and the sellers of Desert will not be receiving any stock as part of the transaction.

For the year ended December 2006, Desert generated revenue of $13 million and EBITDA of $1.8 million. Desert provides IT services to a customer base that primarily consists of Texas-based school districts, local government entities and corporations.

Inova will pay $3 million cash on closing and a $2.5 million note payable over three years. The transaction is expected to close during the month of August, 2007. Inova will not be issuing stock to the sellers of Desert as part of the transaction.

Inova and Desert have been developing three RFID pilots together for schools, prisons and libraries. The first uses Inova's RFID technology to assist libraries convert from bar code systems to RFID systems. The second allows prisons to track prisoners. The third allows schools to track high value equipment and give students automated access to specific areas.

There is no set deal with ibm as of yet.There is a partnership for ibm to make software to support righttags tags but thats a mile away from making revs..This will be a long long road and you could be making plenty elsewhere in the meantime.My advise get out of this for now and buy something useful like efsf who will be making tons of revs beginning next month they will sign on additional 3000+ retailers and are debt free company.

The deal with IBM says it all. Not to mention the patents.

I see no middle ground here. Golden cross will happen next week unless this tanks. We'll see if a fresh wave of buyers and strong volume emerges. Be wary if the stock moves higher, BUT on volume like the last couple of days. It won't hold up, I don't think.

LedZep, you are absolutely right: gaps do not all get filled, but this is historically an exception.

Gaps are filled in the next 1-5 days after a leg up (see the two on-going charts below, which I have been eyeballing since the gaps occurred) ...

... or gaps are left unfilled when a (usually a news or what not) material cause push the price above and beyond the gap's oblivion.

As for the GAP...am sure u agree each stock is different and gaps need not be filled...this has been trading like that..before it made the initial big leap from 0.0075 to 0.0195 it left a GAP there..never got filled!!!....
I guess todays and tomorrow's action paves the direction for this one...

I've learned through experience to just evaluate each twist and turn as it comes, and make your trading decisions accordingly. It's right when you're confident that something is about to happen (technically), that the exact OPPOSITE thing occurs. I suspect the MM's are well versed on technicals as well, as they know many penny players follow them, so they try to suck as much money into their grubby little hands as possible, and create frustration and fear at the expense of the uninformed.

I can't tell what it's going to do, I do know that if she dips, i am picking up some shares because I think it will bounce up big..It doesn't seem to want to go down anymore, so who knows, maybe tomorrow she starts running up again.

Yes, the dilution as we see in these kinda stocks is not there..which makes me believe that we are going to have a good rest of the week...unless teh MM's want to shake more and go side ways...or the dump?..

Don't see much dilution at this point...

I like what I'm seeing with regards to the price/volume action. The indicators I'm looking at show minimal dilution after the two huge volume up days this month.

This of course, could change at any time. But as of right now, this consolidation looks good to me. I take it day by day and evaluate as such.

I attempt to identitfy and exploit temporary supply and demand imbalances; I stress the word "temporary" because they never last long. The MM's have enough tricks in their arsenal to rectify any situation where demand is trumping supply. In rare instances, that aforementioned imbalance cannot be righted immediately, and IMO that's when the big money is made in the short term. I see a potential setup for that here, but most setups don't materialize into the big winners. So I don't let my hopes get up too much. Minimal dilution and a re-acceleration of the volume are crucial, along with (of course) a stabilization and move higher of the PPS.

Fundamentals are a crapshoot with penny stocks. Most times you end up wating for the next piece of the puzzle, which never comes soon enough, if at all. Playing the news (the future) is a fools game; playing the charts (the present) is a better option IMO. Unless you have a very long timeframe.

I only trade based on pure TA without any or very few knowledge of fundamentals regarding the underlying stock.

To answer your question regarding a most appropriate entry point:
In this case, as in my systematic approach, I refer to the RSI behavior, then to the price action. If RSI is > 50 and trends back towards its trendline (here, dashed green line, or "Green") while price is retracing, I wait until Green is hit as long as RSI > 50 condition is still valid.

Here, the scenario seems to apply.

Since you can't short a penny stock (unless you're a slimy MM), and you apparently don't like the stock, why are you here? Do you have nothing better to do than to hang out on a message board for a stock you don't own or have no intention of buying? Or are you pompous enough to think that you can actually drive the price down by yourself?

Why are you here? If you're like every other basher I've seen, and I have no reason to believe you are anything different, I predict my question will fall on deaf ears.
