                              Exercise of Warrants

LONDON - 1 May 2007 - BDI Mining Corp. ("the Company") announces that it has
received the following applications to exercise warrants:


   * 750,000 warrants exercised at 30p per share
   * 150,000 warrants exercised at 28p per share


The shares issued pursuant to this exercise will rank pari passu with all
existing Common shares in the Company.


The total number of Common Shares in issue, following this exercise of warrants
and options, will be 107,459,985. Application has been made, for these shares to
be admitted to trading on AIM and this is expected to commence on 4 May 2007.
