The Board is pleased to announce that Paul Thomas Wood, age 44 years, has today
been appointed Managing Director of Andrews Sykes Group plc.

Paul was appointed Director of Operations on 1 March 2006 and has been
instrumental in developing the group's business development strategy over the
past 6 months. He has a vast experience in our industry, having originally
joined the group in August 1978, and the Board has confidence in Paul's ability
to further develop the business.

Paul is a director of our main UK trading subsidiaries, Andrews Sykes Hire
Limited and Andrews Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Limited, as well as a
director of our UK joint venture operation, Sweepax Pumps Limited. He is also a
director of our overseas businesses, Andrews Sykes BV and Khansaheb Sykes LLC.
At the date of his appointment, Paul held 7,945 shares in Andrews Sykes Group
plc representing 0.02% of the current issued share capital. No further
disclosures are required in relation to paragraph 2(g) of the AIM rules.

The Board is also pleased to announce that one of our non-executive directors,
Jean Christophe Francois George Pillois M Econ. & Man. French ACA, age 50 years,
will assume the role of Group Finance Director with immediate effect.

The Board also announces that Richard John Pollard, age 43 years, has resigned
today as a non-executive director of the group. Richard was appointed as a
non-executive director on 26 September 2001 and the Board would like to take
this opportunity to thank Richard for his contribution to the group since that
time.
