Greenway Design Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GDGI) today announced client approval to install a Cool-n-Save commercial pre-cool system at a 100,000 square foot data storage and networking facility operated by Hughes Network Solutions in Las Vegas, NV. The installation involves 11, 20-ton chillers and two, 20-ton Carrier condensers and will also supply purified water for the humidification system that services the data storage facility.

According to installation documents, anticipated energy savings is about $80,000 per year or approximately $10,000 per month. "At the projected rate of savings, the client may see a total return of their investment within six months of activation. We are in touch with NV Energy to help our client apply for a rebate, which could make that even sooner," says Darius Jakubik, Senior Vice President of Greenway Design Group, Inc.

Jakubik notes that this is the first time that Greenway's HERO™ (High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis) water filtration system has been used to supply a client with purified water for a purpose other than to supply the Cool-n-Save misting system with mineral-free water. "This is new territory for HERO; it passed Hughes' humidifier requirements with flying colors," says Jakubik.
