Greenway Design Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GDGI) has released the results of extensive field tests that show that its water mist pre-cooling system may produce energy cost savings as high as 30%, with an average savings of about 26%.

The Company noted that six commercial site tests in two years have produced similar results. At International Rubber, of Dominguez Hills, CA, Cool-n-Save produced a savings of $3,949 in one month. At an ARCO AM/PM Gas Station in Moreno Valley, CA, the technology generated $1,620 in savings from the prior summer. The City Club Store, in Lincoln Monterrey N.L., Mexico, Dollar Tree, Inc., Chesapeak, VA, and installations at Dal-Tile in Southlake, TX and Miami, FL all reported an average reduction of energy use of commercial HVAC systems of 25 to 26%.

A test of Cool-n-Save in July 2010 at Stihl, Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA showed an average 15% decrease in fan temp exhaust; 32% reduction of ambient air temp (around the tested units); 38% reduction of AMP draw and 39% reduction of kilowatts consumed.

Testing is currently underway at Nellis Air Force Base, Mathis Brothers Furniture, Chesapeake Energy Solutions, El Polo Loco, Rexel Electric, R.R. Donelly, Darden, Hughes Aircraft and other sites.
