Chris Kiriakatis Joins Agency Development Team
Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), an advertising technology
company elevating brand performance across all screens for the
world’s leading brands and publishers, today announced it has hired
two TV veterans for key roles within its global sales team. Jake
Piasecki has joined as Chief Revenue Officer of Media Solutions,
reporting to President of Global Sales and Marketing, Lauren
Wiener. Additionally, Chris Kiriakatis has joined as Director of
Agency Development led by Vice President Jay Baum who also reports
to Wiener. Both new hires will be based in New York.
The hirings come after the recent additions of two other TV
industry veterans: Manish Jha, Tremor Video’s President, Supply
Platform who was General Manager, Mobile for the NFL where he was
responsible for translating the NFL TV experience to mobile and who
spent 15 years at ESPN, and Jay Baum, who was Director of National
Video Buying at Deutsch where he oversaw all video spending vs.
TV.
“At Tremor Video we’re laser focused on creating a leadership
team that not only understands video advertising, but has extensive
experience and deep relationships in the television industry as
well,” said Wiener. “Jake and Chris have the exact expertise we’re
looking for and these two roles will be key as Tremor Video bridges
the gap between TV and video to drive brand performance for
marketers and their agencies in an all-screen world.”
Piasecki comes to Tremor Video with nearly two decades of
experience in TV advertising. As CRO he will be responsible for
Tremor Video’s media solutions revenue, sales strategy, sales
development and training and productivity, with particular emphasis
on aligning revenue opportunities and sales efforts with client,
industry and market developments.
Piasecki joins Tremor Video after spending over 15 years in
leadership roles within Viacom’s sales organization. Prior to this
role, he served as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing within
Viacom’s Nickelodeon Group since March 2014. He previously served
as Vice President Sales and Marketing at Nickelodeon, in addition
to a number of key roles within MTV Networks’ sales organization.
He began his career at BBDO.
As part of the agency development team, Kiriakatis will be
responsible for developing consultative relationships with major
agencies to help them navigate the ever changing TV and video
landscape for their brand marketing clients.
Kiriakatis brings a wealth of experience across television and
digital, specifically helping marketers better understand the
importance of cross-device and programmatic planning. He comes to
Tremor Video from Sony Pictures Television where he most recently
served as Senior Vice President of Digital Ad Sales, overseeing
national ad sales, pricing, and planning for SPT digital properties
including PlayStation Network, Crackle, Dr. Oz.com,
QueenLatifah.com and FEARnet.com. Prior to joining SPT in 2007 as
Director of Television Ad Sales, he held roles at MUSIC CHOICE
Video on Demand and A+E Television Networks.
