has joined to lead its engineering team. As Head of Engineering,
Kalita will be responsible for quality, on-time delivery of the
VideoHub platform, an all-screen enterprise platform powering media
transactions for both advertisers and publishers. He will be
based in New York and report to Chief Technology Officer Steven
Lee.
“Utpal is a proven engineering leader, with deep experience
developing enterprise and programmatic software for the advertising
community, and I’m proud to welcome him to the technology team,”
said Lee. “By expanding our leadership team we are placing a

Kalita comes to Tremor Video with over sixteen years of

specifically focused on digital advertising. He most recently
served as Vice President of Application Development at Xaxis, WPP’s
largest trading desk, where he focused on Xaxis’ proprietary data

initiatives at Cybage/Doubleclick, including being responsible for
developing and maintaining DART API and marketing automation.
He received a Bachelor’s of Engineering from Dibrugarh
University and became a PMI Certified Project Management

Tremor Video as Senior Vice President of Engineering in 2008, he
has led the engineering team in the development of Tremor Video’s
Demand-Side Platform and Supply-Side Platforms, as well as numerous
other initiatives. In his new role, Pearson will concentrate on
architecting solutions for the next generation of Tremor Video’s
patented VideoHub technology including advances to its analytics
