Tremor Video Adds Laura Buchman as VP of Publisher Sales

Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), an advertising technology
company elevating brand performance across all screens for the
world’s leading brands and publishers, today announced it has hired
Laura Buchman as Vice President of Publisher Sales. In this role,
Buchman will be responsible for managing Tremor Video’s growing
roster of premium publisher partners and extending those
relationships to encompass the Company’s programmatic solutions.
She will be based in Los Angeles and report to Manish Jha who
recently joined Tremor Video as its President, Publisher
Platforms.
“Laura is widely recognized as an industry leader in platform
sales and programmatic advertising and I’m excited for her to lead
our premium publisher sales efforts,” said Jha. “Her extensive
background in mobile will enhance Tremor Video’s efforts to help
publishers monetize their video content across screens.”
Buchman will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s
extensive premium publisher partnerships with companies such as A+E
Networks, Viacom and Warner Bros., guiding them to maximize the
value of their premium video content. She will also be charged with
growing the adoption of Tremor Video’s VideoHub SSP among
publishers.

Buchman is a 20-year veteran of the digital media and
telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Tremor Video she
served as the Vice President of Publisher Solutions at OpenX where
she was responsible for developing strategic deals with the
comScore Top 100 publishers, as well as a significant partnership
with YP. Before OpenX, Buchman served as Vice President of Business
Development at Mojiva where she led publisher acquisition and
development of the Mojiva mobile ad network as well as overseeing
the strategic partnerships with the company’s exchange, data and
demand partners. Earlier in her career, she held roles in
advertising sales and business development at Lijit (purchased by
Federated Media), AOL and Yahoo!. She was named by Business Insider
as one of the most powerful women in mobile advertising in 2012 and
2013.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from
Southern Illinois University.
