Item 8.01 Other Events

On June 10, 2019, General Moly, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company, through a subsidiary, received approval of its water right applications for the Mt. Hope molybdenum project in Nevada. The specific water right permits for the Mt. Hope Project are anticipated to be issued following completion of administrative paperwork later next week. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
