U.S. Grain Export Inspections Dip

Export inspections for U.S. grains dipped compared with last
week, with China remaining the top destination for soybean
shipments.
In its latest grain export inspections report, the U.S.
Agriculture Department said soybean export inspections totaled 2.02
million metric tons for the week ended Nov. 24, down from 2.43
million tons the prior week.
Meanwhile, corn inspections totaled 302,350 tons and wheat
inspections totaled 198,519 tons, both down from the prior
week.
China remained the leading destination for U.S. soybeans,
receiving roughly 1.5 million tons. Mexico and Ethiopia were the
top destinations for U.S. wheat, and Mexico was the leading
destination for U.S. corn.
Grain futures trading on the CBOT are mixed in post-holiday
trading, with most-active corn futures down 0.7%, soybeans up 0.2%,
and wheat down 2.6%.
