Slovenia has hired banks to lead manage its planned debut 10-year euro sustainability bond, for which it has set an issue size of one billion euro ($1.19 billion), said one of the lead manager banks Tuesday.

Slovenia arranged investor calls on Monday and Tuesday to present the country's new Sustainability Bond Framework ahead of the planned issue.

The banks hired for the upcoming transaction are Barclays, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs Europe SE, J.P.Morgan and Nova KBM.
