NHXS (PINKSHEETS: NHCR) today announced that it will make its
robust claims adjudication platform available through an
Application Programming Interface (API). This will allow practice
management system vendors, clearinghouses, data aggregators, and
healthcare delivery systems to seamlessly add claims scrubbing,
receivable valuation, real time adjudication, denial management,
contract compliance, and contract modeling into their value stream.
The NHXS API provides programmatic access to NHXS business
intelligence. The API is a RESTful web service, allowing technology
companies to utilize it from any platform or programming language
that can submit a web request. The data, returned in a standard
JSON or CSV format, can be seamlessly integrated into third-party
applications.
"This solution is another way for NHXS to increase its value
proposition in the marketplace," said Mark Rieger, CEO of NHXS.
"The company is responding to market demand. This allows vendors to
create their own end user experience giving them more flexibility
to meet customer demand. What NHXS does is very specialized but
bolting on top of existing revenue cycle applications is not as
efficient as integrating into it."
