The SEOUL MY SOUL in TAIPEI event will feature a variety of
activities and experience programs centered around Seoul’s iconic
landmark, the Hangang River. Taipei residents will feel as if they
are touring the Hangang River, as they “experience” the Hangang
River swimming pools, riding on a Ttareungi bike, and enjoying
Seoul Ramyeon. In addition, there will be plenty of prizes that are
useful for visitors to Seoul, such as the Discover Seoul Pass (48h)
and the Climate Card for Tourists.
The event will target Taipei’s MZ generation with Instagrammable
photo zones. At the “SEOULDAL Photo Zone”, visitors can take photos
that make them appear as if they are on Seoul’s newest night
tourism landmark, SEOULDAL, which opened in 2024. The “Feel ‘Soul’
Good Challenge Zone” will allow visitors to take Polaroid photos
with an image of Jin of BTS, Seoul’s honorary tourism
ambassador.
Experience programs will have visitors feeling as if they are at
the Hangang River through a variety of missions and prizes. People
visiting the “Throw Yourself in the Hangang River” activity will
have the chance to find a surprise ticket in a ball pool inspired
by Hangang River’s Moonlight Rainbow Fountain. The surprise tickets
will include either a Discover Seoul Pass (48h) or tickets to the
Taipei 101 Observatory. The “Ride on the Hangang River” experience
simulates riding a Seoul Public Bicycle (“Ttareungi”) along the
river. Participants who achieve a speed of 20 km/h within 30
seconds will be rewarded with a Climate Card for Tourists, allowing
access to Seoul’s public transportation system for a day.
Visitors who participate in the photo zones and experience
programs will receive “Seoul Coins,” which can be exchanged for
“Seoul Goods”. After collecting Seoul Coins through various
programs, visitors can participate in the “Seoul Goods Drawing” to
win a variety of souvenirs, including Seoul Ramyeon, K-Snacks,
Seoul Key Rings, and Hechi Luggage Tags.
SEOUL MY SOUL in TAIPEI is ready to meet Taipei residents at the
Taipei 101 MRT Station Square from Saturday, November 9 to Sunday,
November 10 between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. According to a
spokesperson from the Seoul Tourism Organization, “We have planned
a variety of events to give Taipei residents experiences that have
them feeling as if they are visiting the Hangang River in Seoul.”
The spokesperson added, “We hope many participants will enjoy the
event and leave with special souvenirs from Seoul.”
