HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR), announced today that the Company's Strobic Air business unit has received an order, totaling more than $800,000, from a municipal water treatment facility in the central United States. This order is expected to ship in the second quarter of the Company's next fiscal year, which begins on February 1, 2010. For this project, Strobic Air will supply a total of eighteen (18) Tri-Stack(TM) fans, which will assist in the dilution of odors from the wastewater treatment process. Each fan will utilize Strobic Air's patented Acoustical Silencer Nozzle and Acoustical Windband technology. Strobic Air was awarded this contract based on their reputation for supplying best-in-class low profile exhaust systems that are specifically designed to handle the corrosive environments found in wastewater treatment applications. All of the fans included in this order are highly customized to meet the specific environmental constraints and sound requirements demanded by the facility. "This order reinforces Strobic Air's reputation as the supplier of choice for technologically advanced exhaust systems and represents another example of the diversity of Met-Pro's products and their ability to provide solutions for complex pollution control applications," stated De Hont. "It follows a $600,000 order for air pollution control equipment announced earlier this week and allows us to remain optimistic about our prospects for future awards of this type."
