BOARD APPOINTMENT

The Company is very pleased to announce that Mr Stuart Randolph Lyons CBE, MA
(Cantab), AMP (Wharton), has been appointed to the Board, as a non executive
director, with immediate effect.

Stuart has many years' experience in senior management positions in
manufacturing and retailing organisations. He currently holds directorships in
three active companies including Gartmore Absolute Income & Growth Investment
Trust plc. In the last five years Stuart has held many directorships, both
executive and non executive, including Hogg Robinson plc and Royal Doulton
plc.

Andrew Hughes, Wensum's Chairman & Chief Executive said, " We are delighted
that Stuart has agreed to join our Board. His experience and guidance will be
extremely valuable to the Group".

There are no other disclosures required under paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of
the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
