Kubera Cross-Border Fund Limited (the "Company") (AIM: KUBC) was informed on 22
March 2007 that Sotomar - Empreendimentos Industriais e Imobiliarios, S.A.
("Sotomar S.A.") had acquired 9,478,673 ordinary shares of the Company in the
market on 1 March 2007 at a price of US$1.055 per ordinary share.  As a result,
Sotomar S.A. holds 9,478,673 ordinary shares of the Company representing 4.60%
of the Company's current and issued ordinary shares.
