Zurich Insurance: Jasmin Staiblin Withdraws Candidacy for Election to Board

Zurich Insurance Group AG (ZURN.EB) said Monday that Jasmin
Staiblin has withdrawn her candidacy for election to the Swiss
company's board of directors.
"She cited the timing of the Zurich appointment as conflicting
with her current portfolio of duties, and expressed disappointment
in not being able to join the Zurich Board at this time," the
insurer said in a statement.
Ms. Staiblin is CEO of Swiss energy company Alpiq.
