Deutsche Post AG (DPW.XE) said Monday that its DHL division is developing a parcel network in Switzerland in response to growing demand from the e-commerce sector.

The newly formed company, known as DHL Parcel (Switzerland) AG, will offer next-day delivery on parcels posted between Monday and Friday, Deutsche Post said.

The service will work with local partners that will act as dispatch and delivery points, rather than establishing its own outlets, the company said.
