Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq:ADAT), a provider of secure web-based software applications and telehealth products and services for healthcare organizations, today announced that Sunil Hazaray has joined the Authentidate management team as Chief Commercial Officer. Mr. Hazaray's initial responsibilities will include sales and partner relationships.

Mr. Hazaray is the former Chief Executive Officer of Viterion TeleHealthcare, a business of Bayer Healthcare. In this position, he had overall responsibility for the business and leading it to profitability. He is actively involved in the American Telemedicine Association and has served as the Chairman for the Industry Council of the ATA and on the Board of the ATA. Mr. Hazaray is currently on the Advisory Committee of the Illinois Health Information Exchange and is the Chairman of the M Health group of the ATA. Prior to his tenure at Bayer, Mr. Hazaray held several managerial positions in sales and marketing at Johnson & Johnson and senior management positions at Roche Diagnostics Corp., where he was responsible for the growth of two divisions, which he headed. He holds a degree in Physics and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India.
