WNS (Holdings) Limited (WNS) (NYSE: WNS), a leading provider of
global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, announced its
collaboration with Knowledge Relay LLC, a leading provider of
Operational Business Intelligence products and services, to offer
Data-to-Decision (D2D) services to its global clients in the Energy
and Utilities segment, through user-driven, self-service
operational business intelligence solutions.
The agreement connects the best of business process optimization
services from WNS with the unique Operational Business Intelligence
(OBI) expertise from Knowledge Relay LLC. WNS and Knowledge Relay
will jointly create market-leading OBI solutions designed to help
clients efficiently evaluate and analyze the health and safety of
operations and assets using industry-standard best practices. This
includes gaining visibility not only to the past and present
conditions, but also to what is likely to happen in the future
(“predictive” OBI). As each company focuses on its core
competencies, the alliance will aim at enhancing the customer
experience by teaming business intelligence with process
optimization through tools such as Information Visualizer® and lean
Six Sigma, including write-back into transactional systems, richer
interactive visualizations and new user interfaces.
“We are excited about our collaboration with Knowledge Relay,”
said Keshav R. Murugesh, Group CEO, WNS. “For WNS, the end-user
experience is of prime importance, and it can be fueled only with
knowledge, innovation and the right skill sets. Operational
business intelligence tools enable business users to access,
report, and analyze data from multiple sources more easily than
ever before, with the continuing benefit of highly affordable
subscription-based pricing. This makes unique analytics and
forecasting capabilities much more accessible to all
stakeholders.”
“Our agreement joins the best of business process optimization
services from WNS with the unique operational business intelligence
expertise from Knowledge Relay LLC. The services and products
offered together complement each other to provide one of the
strongest solution sets in the industry,” says Steven K. Mauss,
President and CEO, Knowledge Relay LLC.
According to recent analyst and research reports, ‘usability’
stands out as the most important consideration in selecting
business analytics, regardless of company size, industry,
individual role or functional area. The launch of operational
business intelligence as a service addresses this business priority
by facilitating better end-user interaction with data.
