On November 19, 2020, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the “Company”), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (“MSHA”) under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Huntsville Quarry in Huntsville, Alabama. The order was issued when a Volvo articulating truck operator was observed dumping material near the edge of a dump area. The activity was immediately halted and the operator was retrained on dump site safety procedures. No injuries occurred from this incident.
