Item 5.02.
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On November 12, 2019, Tenet Healthcare Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Chief Operating Officer Saumya Sutaria, M.D., has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective immediately.  In this role, Dr. Sutaria will assume direct reporting responsibility for the Company’s United Surgical Partners International and Conifer Health Solutions business units.  Dr. Sutaria will continue to be responsible for the Company’s Hospital Operations segment.  There are no material changes to the information regarding Dr. Sutaria provided in the Company’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 30, 2018.
