State Street Hosts Forum to Discuss Issues Impacting Collective Investment Fund Industry; Partners with INVESCO to Provide Custo

Earlier this week, State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), the

co-hosted, "Collective Investment Funds Forum-A Guidebook for a New
Fund Era," together with INVESCO. The forum, held at State Street's
corporate headquarters in Boston, provided an opportunity for more
than 65 industry experts to discuss a wide range of issues
impacting the collective investment fund industry. "As the industry
leader, we are in a unique position to provide insight into the
issues impacting our customers now and in the future," said Robert

One of the panels hosted by State Street and INVESCO discussed
techniques to navigate successfully in a challenging regulatory
environment. The panel topics included controls and oversight
concerns for collective trust funds and collateral issues in swaps,
options and futures. Additional accounting and operations panels
addressed topics such new FASB stable value reporting requirements,
distribution channels and supporting defined contribution markets.
