Harris Williams & Co. Advises The Carlyle Group and The Mill on its Sale to Barclays Private Equity

Harris Williams & Co. Ltd, a global middle market investment bank, is pleased to announce the sale of The Mill, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, to Barclays Private Equity for £119 million. The transaction closed on April 18, 2011 and was led by Thierry Monjauze, Red Norrie, Francois Morin, Eric Logue, and Bobby Virdi of the firm’s London office.

Founded in 1990 in London, UK, The Mill creates award-winning video content for global brands and advertising agencies. The Mill’s core business is providing high-end digital visual effects solutions for brand communication.
