Games featured at Elfmas Town include:

  • Bouncing Thru The Snow – Saddle up snow-goers, and go for the record distance on the back of a bouncin' buckin' OfficeMax rubberband ball. Players test their skills to see how far they can bounce through the snow and around office supply obstacles.
  • Kittens in Mittens – These cold little kittens got out of their mittens. Use your shepherding skills to round up these wayward fluffy kittens before the Abominable Snowman snatches them up!
  • Reindeer on Ice – Lace up those skates and glitter those antlers, it's time to figure skate your sleigh bells off in order to impress these discerning judges.
  • G-Bread – You can rap your holiday wishes to loved ones this season. G-Bread Man will be your voice, but the rhymes he kicks are all your choice.
  • Holiday Grab Bag – Players can pick a present from Santa’s “grab bag” for a chance to win OfficeMax gifts like digital cameras, gift cards and more.
  • Holiday Fairy Tale – We'll take your Facebook details and mix it with a bit of fun and imagination to create a custom holiday fairytale starring you. (available November 22, 2010).

By playing games, users earn and accumulate Rubber Bands that can be exchanged daily for prizes in Santa's Workshop, which features a selection of coupons at varying levels redeemable for discounts at OfficeMax stores nationwide. Prizes at Santa's Workshop rotate daily and include promotions on gift items ranging from desk accessories to electronics to furniture.

"This year, OfficeMax is taking its holiday campaign to new levels featuring a variety of digital initiatives ranging from holiday eGreetings to gaming to social media, mobile, promotions and more," said Bob Thacker, SVP of marketing and advertising at OfficeMax. "Elfmas Town embodies OfficeMax's brand essence of passionate, innovative and fun, and we're thrilled to share this new suite of games with our fans and reward them with free gifts and coupons for holiday shopping. Let the winter games of the 2010 holiday season begin!"

Elfmas Town was created in partnership by OfficeMax's brand team, advertising agency Palm+Havas and game developer 15 Letters. The application is being supported by advertising on Facebook and will be available to users through the end of December.
