Centrica Reorganizes Business

LONDON-- Gas supplier Centrica PLC (CNA.LN) Wednesday said it
will form global consumer and business divisions as part of a
company reorganization, effective March 6.
Mark Hodges will become Chief Executive, Centrica Consumer, and
will continue to lead the U.K. Home, Ireland and Connected Home
businesses.
Mark Hanafin becomes Chief Executive, Centrica Business, and
will continue to lead Distributed Energy & Power, Energy
Marketing & Trading and Central Power Generation.
Badar Khan, Chief Executive of Energy Supply & Services in
North America, will leave the company for a role with U.K. utility
company National Grid PLC (NG.LN), and his tasks will be taken over
my Mr Hodges and Mr. Hanafin.
Shares at 1509 GMT, up a penny, or 0.3%, at 230 pence valuing
the company at GBP12.61 billion.
