ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a maximum value of $422 million to supply the Department of Defense with its Falcon(R) high-frequency multiband radio systems. The contract includes an initial delivery order for the U.S. Army valued at $104 million. The contract calls for Harris to deliver Falcon II AN/PRC-150(C) HF manpack radios and related vehicular and base station systems, as well as installation and training, over five years. Deliveries will begin later this summer. "This is a great contract award for Harris.
