MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris

network management systems, wireless equipment and services, today
announced that its NetBoss(R) system has been selected to support
the expanding telecommunications network of MBO Video, whose SONET

and Missouri. The Harris NetBoss(R) system will provide MBO with
complete fault management and performance reporting capabilities.
"As a wholesale network provider, 99.995 percent reliability is the
undisputed standard, so during the past 10 years we have invested
heavily in technology that allows us to offer our customers high
reliability and an expanding range of voice, data, DSL and Internet
services," said Danny Whittenburg, IS manager, MBO. "After a
year-long search, we selected Harris NetBoss(R) for its
flexibility, scalability and ability to give us greater visibility
into our network operations. NetBoss(R) will allow us to
proactively monitor and manage any network issues, and will assist
in our growth strategy to offer affordable network backbone
services and end-to-end solutions to independent local exchange
carriers (ILECs)." The MBO telecommunications network backbone

subscribers in several Oklahoma counties
(http://www.crosstel.net/). In addition to a primary NetBoss(R)

graphical scripting tool for creating customer interfaces or
modifying existing Harris Smart Agents; the NetBoss(R) Reporter
database application for generating reports; NetBoss(R) Trouble
Reporter, which provides automatic trouble ticketing; and the
NetBoss(R) paging and e-mail applications, which ensure automatic
and immediate notification of network problems. "We are extremely
