Eaton Completes Acquisition of ACTOM Low-Voltage in South Africa

Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN)
today announced it has completed its purchase of ACTOM Low-Voltage
in South Africa. The transaction was announced January 21,
2011.
ACTOM Low-Voltage is a leading South African manufacturer and
supplier of motor control components, engineered electrical
distribution systems and uninterruptible power supply systems.
Headquartered in Johannesburg, ACTOM Low-Voltage had sales of $65
million during the last twelve months. The business has 490
employees and two manufacturing facilities in South Africa.
Eaton Corporation is a diversified power management company with
2010 sales of $13.7 billion. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in
2011, Eaton is a global technology leader in electrical components
and systems for power quality, distribution and control; hydraulics
components, systems and services for industrial and mobile
