CBL Properties (NYSE:CBL) recently added exciting new
experiential entertainment exhibits, Wonder Wonder at Oak Park Mall
in Kansas City, Kansas, and InsideOut Land at Hamilton Place in
Chattanooga, Tennessee.
“Part art exhibit, part photograph opportunity, these immersive
experiences tap into our visitors’ creative impulses and speak to
the wide range of new uses we are adding to our properties to drive
greater traffic and sales,” said Stephen Lebovitz, chief executive
officer, CBL Properties. “Retail properties nationwide are seeing
experiences like these pop up across the country – from The Museum
of Ice Cream in San Francisco to The Color Factory in New York. We
are excited to be on the forefront of this trend in our
markets.”
Wonder Wonder at Oak Park Mall is a nearly 6,000-square-foot
experiential entertainment concept comprised of 16 different rooms
each featuring creative content from a different artist. Some rooms
are built for fun photo ops, while others offer a multi-sensory
experience. Wonder Wonder opened in early 2019 and has developed a
strong following in its market.
InsideOut Land at Hamilton Place is a 1,500-square-foot unique
art installation by Chattanooga-based artist J.W. Butts, well known
for his murals in the area. In his first 3D art installation, Butts
has transformed a former retail space into an enchanted forest
featuring larger-than-life flowers, sculpted animals, and painted
landscapes.
